I received my handmade shearling slippers today from Shepherd’s Flock, and figured I would do a quick unboxing video. These slippers are awesome, very thick and warm. I struggle every year on having warm toes… these should really put all those issues to bed. These aren’t you average fake wool slippers. These are high quality handmade shearling slippers. I am very impressed. They do not have online ordering, you actually have to call the shop and talk to them. They answer ‘Hello’, just tell them you are looking to buy some shearling slippers (or many other items they sell)… And they will take it from there. I placed my order on September 23rd, and received them today in the mail (USPS Priority). Note, that production time will increase as we get further into the cold seasons…. Trust me they are well worth it, I wanted a pair last year… but they were backlogged as I came to the party way too late. Give them a call: 802-365-4588 (7 Days a week between 8AM and 7PM Eastern Time).
I recently got back into auto detailing. With the purchase of a new car looming on the horizon, I needed to get my two vehicles I am selling in tip-top shape. So, I picked up a Griot’s Garage 6″ Orbital Buffer. I have already used the buffer for about 2 hours or so, and I have achieved fantastic results in my mechanical paint correction. I did a fair bit of research, as I normally do, before I bought this Griot’s Garage 6″ Orbital Buffer. There are a few competitors that are on the market, in the same price range… However after many reviews I selected the Griot’s. It has a lifetime warranty, it’s solid and well-built and works great. I did end up buying a Lake Country 5″ backplate for it, to allow the buffer to accept smaller pads. All in all, I am very happy. You can pick up the Griot’s Buffer here: http://amzn.to/1K8ymcQ as well as the Lake Country 5″ Backplate: http://amzn.to/1EItuU4
Here is a quick Unboxing video of a recent purchase from Amazon.com. I am way behind on uploading videos to YouTube. This was filmed back on April 23rd, just getting to uploading it now… >.<
Anyway, I recently got a new iPad Air 2, so I picked up a case from Amazon: iPad Air 2 Case, SUPCASE. I also have been getting back into fountain pens, and I have wanted a Pilot Parallel Pen 2.4mm so I grabbed one. Lastly, being the crazy Dr Who / Whovian fan I am… I picked up a big bag of: Jelly Babies!
Recently, I had a small project to do, and it required an Alphabetical List of State Abbreviations in the USA. Since my Alphabetical List of ALL 50 States in the USA continues to get a ton of visits every day. I figured I would share this list with everyone as well. Again, it’s an unformatted and clean list. Just a simple list with the state abbreviation.

Orient URL040NQ – Fantastic little ladies watch I recently bought for my wife. This watch was never meant for export from Japan. I purchased through the Japanese website, Rakuten. This specific watch has an Orient mechanical movement: Caliber 55941. The watch has been sold in Japan since 2005. It has a unique day/date feature, stainless steel case and bracelet, mineral crystal glass and is water-resistant to 30m. The size is fairly small at 26.10 x33.60mm. It is a very pretty watch. Orient watches are known for their quality and high standards. They build their own movements, in-house, which is very rare these days. They are regarded as high quality and are an extraordinary value, as they are often not very expensive. The brand is not very well-known here in the USA. I have a Orient Blue Mako myself and love it.
This is where I purchased the watch: http://item.rakuten.co.jp/aaa-corp/url040nq/
