A quick review of my favorite cup for my morning latte. These are Acme & Co. Cappuccino Cups, which have a 190ml capacity. I use these awesome cups every day for my lattes. These have great heat retention, thick and sturdy, overall these are really just great cups.
How to Pull a Shot on a Vintage La Pavoni Europiccola
In this video I show you how I pull shots of espresso, on my 1973 Vintage La Pavoni Europiccola lever espresso machine. This lovely machine is from Italy, and she is temperamental… you need to touch her just so. Keep her happy and she will always keep you happy =)
This is a quick review of the coffee I roasted a couple of days ago. The mouthfeel is great, a little oily, nice and heavy, creamy almost… I don’t get much of the red fruits, but there is something sort of between a cherry and cranberry in there. It’s just a hint of that fruit, the rest is full roasted chocolate. In the video I even mention, that it’s so chocolaty it almost is a mocha, without adding any chocolate in. Very delicious. I think I may have taken it too far in the roast, and the next 1/2# I roast will be a little lighter to capture more of the fruit notes.
Here is a low-level view (looking up at the portafilter) of me pulling a shot of espresso on my vintage La Pavoni Europiccola.
Just noticed a spelling error in a note within the video, sorry! Infusion! not Infussion!
