well, this was an easy mod to do for the most part. except i highly recommend two people – i did it myself though which raised the difficulty rating up a bit. i bought a hidden hitch from eTrailer.com best price i could find, when i started looking for hitches. shipping was pretty fast. my only beef was that they could have spent a little extra time on packing it up.
like i said before install would have been much easier if i had another person helping me. the instructions were precise and i was ablt to do this mod in about 1hr. pretty much just bolt it on and you are done. there were a couple of bolts that had to be fished through the frame with a wire. those were pretty much the only hard ones to deal with. my only other problem was holding the hitch up while i was partially under the jeep. so i took some paint cans and wood blocks to try and get the hitch level – or close to it while i was bolting one end. again GET SOMEONE TO HELP YOU and you wont have that problem.
here are some pics of the install.

these were the bolts that were a pain in the arse to fish through the frame.
all done!
