Ok, so for the scent, I was worried about the level of scent that was in the soap. When I opened the tin, I could smell the AL Fin, but it was very light. When I got it lathering though, and on my face I could definitely smell it. Sure.. it isn’t super strong, but it is the right scent, just a little less. If Douglas ever makes this again, I would recommend a bit more of the fragrance and essential oils. I heard it was expensive to make, but $5 more for a stronger scented soap would make this better.
As far as the razor, damn… it’s a winner… Smooth and mild. I would highly recommend it, especially for someone just starting out wet shaving. I tried to gash my face up, but i wasn’t able too just by going quick, or being a little on the heavy side of the hand.
