i was in WholeFoods today, jonesing for something to drink. i walked down the usual isles, starting with the teas and waters. then down the organic refrigerated section – didn’t feel like a wheatgrass or acai type drink. then on to to my favorite section – the beer section – hmm.. nothing seemed to grab my attention. although, i did buy two beers to try later (more on them another time though). as my wife was looking at the prepared foods, i strolled over to another refrigerated case and there it was. all alone. one brown bottle. it said Main Root. i chuckled. i picked it up. these days, when bored i often seek the refuge of the internet. i must admit i sometimes get lost… lost in some new found community [forums, blogs, social networking sites]. these places are a haven to many people across the globe. and sometimes even for those who circle the globe… granted the ability to communicate with others, in ways we once could only dream… remember those chat rooms from AOL & Prodigy? i even remember Sierra Online with it’s fancy avatars. 
, it’s a diy brush/spray on bed liner. it’s a great way to protect the bed of a truck or in my case the tub of my jeep wrangler. the stuff is pretty durable for an inexpensive diy kit. I originally did this mod on April 10th, 2004. i must say the Herculiner really has held up very well. one day this summer I think i will just touch up the floorboards in the drivers and passengers area with a fresh coat. this time I will also apply a UV top coat to protect the finish a bit. over the years the finish has dulled slightly – but it’s not bad at all. i highly recommend this project. it took probably 18 hours over the course of 3 days. i personally opted to spray the Herculiner on instead of rolling it. i feel that the outcome was well worth the spraying. it seemed to give me a much better even coat.
