Green Mystery Ink [full size photo] – I received this ink from my friends over at Pear Tree Pens a week or so ago. Ryan had asked me to take the ink for a spin and report back as to what I thought of the ink. He didn’t want me to know what brand or color this was, so I will refer to it as the Green Mystery Ink.
The ink is a pretty green color, kind of like a sea-foam green… others I have shown it to think of it more as a Caribbean Green. Regardless, whatever you call it – it’s pretty. The ink for the most part seemed to be well behaved. I thought that the flow could be a bit better myself. But aside from that, no really important issues with show / bleed through / feathering. This ink dries very fast, mostly due to the fast it’s not a wet ink.
If you are looking for a nice bright tropical green ink, this might work for you. Not that this will help much, since I have no idea of what brand or color this is. 😉 You can always keep an eye out over at Pear Tree Pens, as it might end up being added to their ink offerings.
# update – this ink ended up being: Camel Green
