Private Reserve Purple Mojo [full size photo] – Purple, Purple, Purple – Step right up, if you enjoy the color purple! This is a gorgeous, highly saturated purple. I inked up my Esterbrook 9048 flex nib for the review. This is a great purple. There is a nice amount of shading, comes off a little wet, although my Esty was having issues keeping the nib fed with ink (as you can see the drop offs). This would look great in a flex pen with a better feed. Maybe even a wet noodle could knock this ink out of the park. The ink has been well behaved, and I have only noted feathering with this Esty. There was bleed through when using the flexi nib. The ink also seemed to dry very fast – as you will see in the dry test.
I really enjoy this color a lot, and I can wait to test it in a broader nib fountain pen.
