9:20pm – let the install begin. installing a fresh copy of the new OS X Leopard
9:35pm – installer disk finishes checking consistency of the install dvd.
9:36pm – i top off my glass of scotch – brb 😉
9:38pm – installer begins installing OS X Leopard on volume “Untitled” – i swear there wasn’t any pr0n on that drive!
9:41pm – installer calculates that it’s going to take about 59mins to install – i hope it counts better than “XP”
9:43pm – doh! guess it doesn’t count that well… now it says 1h20m – we shall see
9:56pm – 25 mins remain or so it says – i shall cross my fingers
10:19pm – Installer has finished – rebooting!
10:21pm – Welcome Video starts playing. nice stuff. i start filling out setup questions, language, country, user migration, wireless service, apple id, create acct, select picture for acct, .mac.
10:27pm – All done, checking out interface, very pretty, dock is neat, nce stuff so far.
10:30pm – apple updater already asking to update – doh! – Remote Desktop Client (3.2 client update)
10:31pm – iTunes is the same version as before, this was a slight concern to me.
10:32pm – installing a few quick apps. LittleSnitch, Quicksilver, 1Password, smcFanControl, FireFox then going to pay some attn to the wife 😉
